This has been the wettest and coolest summer that most South Dakotans can remember. The country is beautiful and I am finding a good number of sharptail grouse, prairie chickens, and pheasants. I have some real nice gun dogs and field trial dogs up here. The National Champions are represented well here with some real nice dogs out of Ch. Funseeker's Rebel, Ch. Whippoorwill Wild Agin, and Ch. Phantom's Wizard. I think these are some of the nicest young dogs that I have had since I have been coming to S. Dakota. My son, John, has been here for three weeks and he has been a tremendous help to me this year. I look forward to visits from Steve Snell, owner of Gundogsupply.com,
